Summer Rolls for Summertime
Summer Rolls for Summertime
Well, there is a plethora of simple appetizer recipes for every season, every occasion, every party. Not enough room in the blogosphere to talk about them all. But, I’ll try! Makes me feel rich with the abundance of great and fun-to-eat food to be had…
I zoomed in on this wonderful recipe for Vietnamese Summer Rolls. Being a big fan of spring rolls, I love this idea that Katie from Chaos in the Kitchen calls a “hand-held salad”.
As you know, I’m a lover of all food in small packages, and this little package is packed with goodness. Fresh herbs, veggies, shrimp, noodles and of course, my favorite, the crackly taste of childhood with the peanut sauce for dipping.
Not difficult to make, this little gem will please even the pickiest of eaters. Enjoy!~~~~~~~~

They are served room temperature, and are not deep fried. Summer roll has gradually gained popularity among Vietnam’s neighboring countries and in the West… Fresh roll is a finger food and is always served with dipping sauce.
